European Alliance for Personalised Medicine Inaugural Congress, Belfast
“Personalising your Health – a global imperative”

Over six hundred delegates attended the inaugural event from across EU member states and held in conjunction with the Estonian presidency. S:CORT professors Tim Maughan and Richard Sullivan and Lisa Wilde from BC-UK all took part in the acclaimed session; “left behind and burnt out? The lived experience of the molecularly unstratified patient and stratified medicine researchers.” During the session both S:CORT and FOCUS4 were given as exemplars of the progress in precision medicine research. Posters were also presented during breakout sessions representing our work in the fields of; patient and public involvement, health economics and tumour heterogeneity.
The event was also attended by policy makers, patient groups and industry representatives from across Europe helping to achieve the congress objective to put personalised medicine at the forefront of European decision making on health.
